Earlier today, some students of the Ladoke Akintola University of TechnologyLAUTECH, posted an obituary of their current Vice Chancellor, ProfessorSulaiman Gbadegeshin, as a way of showing their displeasure over the lingering strike action in the school.

Academic activities in the school have been on standstill for many months now due to a faceoff between the staff of the school and the Osun and Oyo state governments that are co-owners of the school.

The lecturers are demanding the payment of the arrears of their salary that amounts to N7.1 billion.

An Ikeja High Court was on Thursday thrown into confusion after an unnamed witness slumped and died in the court just before testifying before Justice O.A. Olayinka in a land case. HOW EVANS LURED US INTO HIS KIDNNAP GANG

Three key members of the deadly kidnap gang led by Chukwudubem Onwuamadike, alias Evans, have opened up on how the notorious kingpin lured them into the gang and ended up using them to his inglorious gains while giving them peanuts. The gang members, Suoyo Paul, a 42-year-old Bayelsa State-born ex-militant, confessed to be the armourer of the gang who supplied most of the guns and ammunitions used by the gang while Chukwuemeka Ikenna Bosah, a 32-year-old, said he was led into the gang because he needed money for his wife who needed to undergo a Caesarian Section operation.
